Culture In The 'Cac

Practical Application of French Class

Some friends and I took a trip up to Quebec City this past weekend. Forget Europe – this quaint, historical and très francaise little city is right in our ‘Cacyards. It’s a perfect getaway for fall or spring break, and good for a little foreign language practice. Here’s a little taste, to help you all to procrastinate from packing and planning for classes:

Reading comprehension test…

The beautiful boardwalk!

Cirque du Soleil.

Bird’s eye view from la tour d’observation.

New sorts of wisdom…

A bit of flair for color and excitement.

The most digusting-looking, good tasting food, called “poutine” (fries, gravy and cheese curds).

Parc de la Chute, where dreams come true and where you can see a waterfall 30 meters taller than Niagra Falls.

And ‘Cac representatives, conquering it all.
