Michael Joseph, Middlebury College Pitcher, Signs to Orioles
Congrats to Joseph Inks, now class of ’14, for his recent signing to the Baltimore Orioles earlier this week. The pitcher will be at school for the Fall and take Spring to join the Orioles. He’s looking to return to school in time to graduate in February 2014.

Joseph has been pitching this summer for the Torrington Titans in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League when scouts saw him. This summer he had a record of 0-1 with a 3.28 ERA in 21 appearances with three saves . He’s been named Pitcher of the Week for NESCAC as well. Via Nescac.com: ”I am going to miss playing for Middlebury this spring,” said Joseph. “Coach Smith and my pitching coach Jim Neidlinger, as well as the whole Middlebury Baseball program, have played an enormous role in enabling me to get this opportunity.”
