Timeflies: Under the Influence
Tufts alums Rob Resnick and Cal Shapiro (’12) have been huge on the blog scene since 2010; you can track ‘em back to their first single, Lose My Mind, and follow them through their Timeflies Tuesday specials that feature Cal freestyling as Rob makes awesome beats. In Fall 2011, the duo released The Scotch Tape (named for Cal’s love of scotch, classy Tufts man) which hit #8 on iTunes and #2 on the iTunes pop chart.
So it was about time for them to release an EP to their adoring fans who fill concerts and college shows across the US. And that’s exactly what Under the Influence is: a big thank you to fans with original covers spanning 6 songs. In case you were wondering, they’re gonna be releasing an album relatively soon, too, made up of entirely new material.
