1/5 Of All College Streaking…

Can be traced back to The ‘Cac.

At least, according to this article in Huffpost, which lists  Tufts and Hamilton in it’s slideshow of campus streaking traditions, quoted here:

Tufts

“Tufts has held a well-known streaking event since the 1970s known as the “Naked Quad Run.” After a tumultuous relationship with streaking, Tufts banned the event in 2011 when it resulted in a high level of incidents related to alcohol toxicity and a student arrest. Though the decision to ban the naked run was difficult, President Bacow is quoted saying, ‘Even if I did not act now, NQR would end some day. The only question is whether a student has to die first.’”

Hamilton

“Hamilton College has seen a much more fortunate outcome for their streaking tradition, and in recent years they boast of a “Varsity Streaking Team.” The team gained recognition when the New York Times ran an article on them in 2004. Two members of the team also appeared on Fox News(warning: this video contains some nudity) in 2006, stating that the team has streaked at about 14 to 16 schools, and that members have even streaked in other continents, such as Africa.”

Here’s that vid you’re all feenin for…if you don’t watch the whole thing, you don’t get the money quotes–and trust me, there are MONEY QUOTES.
