The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) recently announced their selections for the Capital One Academic All-America teams. Started in 1952, the award goes to the nation’s top athletes who excel both in their sport and in the classroom. This spring, Amherst’s Ben Scheetz ’12 and Keri Lambert ’13 were named to the First and Second Teams, respectively, for their outstanding performances in cross-country and track and field. Scheetz is joined on the men’s side by fellow NESCAC runner Michael LeDuc ’14 of Connecticut College (Third Team), while Lambert remains the only women’s ‘Cac representative for this year.
