Half-Price Tickets
- Arts Boston
- As Boston’s exclusive half-price, in-person day-of-show ticket booths, it offers tickets to performances all over town—from touring blockbusters to hot local productions. Listings change daily and include theatre, music and dance. Also kiosks in Faneuil Hall and Copley Square.

- Sign up for Goldstar to get email updates and access to first-rate live entertainment tickets at half-price or better.
Music Performance Venues
- Boston Chamber Music Society
- $5 Student rush tickets available at the Sanders Theatre and Jordan Hall box offices with student ID, on the evening of the concert.
- Celebrity Series of Boston
- On the day of selected performances, specially-priced tickets will be sold to students with valid student identification. Prices, availability and sales times vary across sales venues. Tickets can only be purchased on the day of the performance, and payment must be in cash.
- New England Conservatory
- Free Tickets to concerts. Take classes at the New England Conservatory.
- Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops
- A limited number of rush tickets for Boston Symphony Orchestra subscription concerts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons are set aside to be sold on the day of the performance. These tickets are sold at $7.50 each, one to a customer, outside the Massachusetts Avenue lobby on Fridays beginning at 9am and Tuesdays beginning at 5pm. Please note that there are no rush tickets available on Friday or Saturday evenings.
- Boston Lyric Opera
- Half price student tickets are available in advance and day of show in person at the Citi Performing Arts Center Box Office, 270 Tremont Street: Monday–Saturday, 10am–6pm.
- Opera Boston
- Opera Boston is pleased to offer student rush tickets for $10 on the day of the performance, but tickets sell quickly and availability will be limited. This offer is valid on three performances of each of our three productions on Fridays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 3:00 pm and Tuesdays at 7:30 pm. (Cash only; 1 ticket per student with ID.)All performances are at the Emerson Majestic Theater, conveniently located two blocks away from the Red Line’s Park Street station. - Handel and Haydn Society
- $25.00 Impromtu Student Pass. Performs Baroque and Classical music for chorus and period-instrument orchestra. It is among the oldest continuously performing arts organizations in the country.
- Boston Conservatory

Theatre
- Somerville Theatre
- Movies: $5 Matinees, $7.00 before 6PM, $8.00 after 6PM. Concert and Performance Tickets vary.
- Boston Ballet
- Tickets are $20, cash only, available at The Wang Theatre Box Office two hours before the performance. Available for all performances except for The Nutcracker. One ticket per college ID (ID required). Full time students only.
- Broadway Across America: Boston
- $25 Student Rush Tickets (1 ticket per valid college ID).
- Blue Man Group
- Student rush tickets available for performances based on availability. Please call 617-426-6912 on the day of the performance to inquire about student rush. Tickets are $25 each, cash only. 2 tickets per valid student ID.
- American Repertory Theatre
- Students: call for $25 advance tickets, 2 maximum, valid ID required. Day of show student rush: call 617.547.8300 for $15 tickets, 2 maximum, valid ID required. Applicable for most shows.
- The Huntington Theatre
- Boston’s leading professional theatre company based out of Boston University.
- The New Repertory Theatre
- Students can call 617-923-7060 for ushering opportunities. Most shows offer a significant student discount for students with a valid college ID.
- Improv Asylum
- $20.00 Tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Coupon specials, RA events and College Programming! Order tickets by calling the box office at 617-263-6887 or at the website. Free Italian buffet every Thursday night starting at 7pm.
- Lyric Stage Company
- $14 Special Weekday Student Matinee Performances at 10am.
- Stoneham Theatre
- Pickup tickets at the Theatre Box Office or call 781-279-2200.
- Boston Center for the Arts
- Houses local theatre companies.
- The Comedy Connection
- Voted “Boston’s Best Comedy Club” by The Improper Bostonian since 2000.
- Improv Boston
- Improvisational comedy shows. $7 Tickets for students with valid college ID.
- Berkley College Performance Center
- The Berklee Performance Center is located at 136 Massachusetts Avenue, in Boston’s historic Back Bay. The BPC, which is both the college’s flagship performance space and one of Boston’s most prestigious concert halls, is easily accessible by public transportation, with parking available in neighboring garages. Tickets generally $10.

- Free general admission to the Museum and discounts on special exhibition tickets and Museum Shop purchases with college photo ID.
- Institute of Contemporary Art
- $10 for Students. Free on Thursdays from 5-9 PM
- Museum of Science
- Annual College Night in the beginning of September offers students free admission to exhibits.
- Museum of African American Heritage
- The Museum of African American History is New England’s largest museum dedicated to preserving, conserving and interpreting the contributions of African Americans. In Boston, the African Meeting House is the oldest African Meeting house in America, and the adjacent Abiel Smith School is the first building in the nation constructed for the sole purpose of housing a black public school. Today, the Abiel Smith School galleries feature rotating exhibits and a Museum Store open year around.
- Museum of Bad Art
- The Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA) is the world’s only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms.
