Amherst Blog In The 'Cac Lifestyle Photography Uncategorized

Say Cheese!

Wondering what your campus is up to as you travel the world, stare at your cubicle walls or play videogames in mom’s basement? Wanting to know how you can get some visual evidence of home sweet home in the hotter months?

I visited Amherst this weekend, armed and prepared for documentation. I wanted to copycat copy this person (which I saw thanks to the ‘Cac’s very own creator), who set up a disposable camera on a random fence post with a sign telling people to take pictures of themselves (among other things). So I brought the Kodak disposable that had been sitting in my room for who knows how long (long enough for the expiration date of the film to be passed), tied it to a railing outside one of the more-inhabited dorms, and waited (and hoped it wasn’t drunkenly stolen) for 2 days.

I was fortunate – people left my little camera intact, and took photos (though it seems some were unsurprisingly pornographic – CVS was inclined to censor 5 of the 27 photos and keep them to themselves, and I know this for a fact because I was present for the photographing of at least one man-nipple). Here are the photos deemed appropriate:
