The ‘Cac gets a shout-out in NACDA‘s press release regarding this year’s DIII Learfield Sports Director cup. No, not because Midd sniped it from Williams after they’ve been grazing out of it for a pretentious 13 years, but because 4 out of the top ten finishers in the rankings were ‘Cac.

Midd athletics director Erin Quinn told USA today, “Our schools in the NESCAC have made a commitment to broad participation and excellence …  We have a lot of varsity sports, and the colleges are able to support them well. They’re clearly attractive schools. The campuses are nice, we have strong academics and we all have good athletic facilities.”

Well said!

Williams finished 3rd, Amherst 4th, Tufts 7th.
