The College Board actually did some kids a favor?

The Choice “The College Board has canceled plans to offer the SAT exam to gifted students enrolled in a $4,500 summer program, a spokeswoman announced on Tuesday…

Opponents, including Robert Schaeffer, the public education director of FairTest, have criticized the ‘rich kids SAT’ in the news media and blogs, calling the exclusive test date for a high-priced program unfair because it gave ‘even more advantage to kids who have had every opportunity in life.’”

Uh guys, let’s call a spade a spade here and all agree that The College Board is actually saving kids whose parent’s still brush their teeth for them from a shitty summer of choosing make-out partners based on what collegiate hoodie they’re wearing.

Take your  iPod shuffle and your Fleetwood Mac beach towel and spend your summer having sexually tense volleyball games just like everybody else. The time will come to send out your SAT scores for the small sum of a third world dowry (per school), but that time is not now.

GO! BE FREEEE!!!
