Summer To-Dos

You never know what towns you'll find in Northern California on a road trip

One of my favorite things in the world to do is to make a to-do list. Frequently, on my to-do list is the task “make to-do list.” Naturally, that is the task I am best at. I sit in class and write up a list, complete with a picture of myself completing or working on the task. Recently, I have discovered the Outlook “tasks” option, where there is no free space to draw. I reject this. So here’s the summer to-dos (some of which are area-specific, so forgive me):
• Road trip somewhere (even if it’s a short one, and “short” is a East/West coast relative term)
• Go to a Giants game and wear the ugliest shade of orange I don’t own yet
• Wine tasting in Napa Valley and/or Columbia Valley (we have to reflect how “refined” we have become since last month drinking questionable boxed wine mixed with various sodas from the dining hall)
• Attend lectures and discussions at local colleges (we ‘Cac students just can’t get enough free food knowledge)
• Think about my honors project, then proceed to watch Game of Thrones
• Hang out with other local interns, whether you’re in New York and that means ibankers, or in Silicon Valley and that means Google geeks, fellow interns understand us, they get it, or at least they’re interesting to hang out with on the weekends

So get going on your to-do list (or mine, and let me know when I can check off my boxes)
