We had our conference track meet yesterday at Bates (all NESCAC schools, all on one track – how great is that?) There were gale force, bone chilling, face-smacking, wish-you-were-never-outside-again winds, but they couldn’t stop our spirit of competition and they certainly didn’t slow us down (..too much). 'Cac stack! Anyone who ran the steeplechase yesterday is a classified badass...that water isn't warm.
