An Amherst Scandal
Amherst campus exploded last night over last Thursday’s student government (AAS) elections and what has been called “Tampering and Collusion” with the presidential race. Basically, it is a very strong possibility that numbers got leaked during the day of the election, and everything goes downhill from there. Not only does this interfere with the election process, it also exposes some strong issues within the AAS itself, and it also has potential implications for those involved and whether they broke Amherst’s Honor Code. To read a (very) full description of what happened and what course of action will be taken to handle the situation, go to the online edition of the Amherst Student here. And keep your eyes peeled – more is to come soon.
