Student Protest of Scalia Lecture Ends In Irked Peers At Wes

Justice Scalia graced Middletown with his presence yesterday, addressing his stance on controversial judicial issues such as Citizens United, the legalization of gay marriage, and abortion. Scalia also spent time explaining the Originalist school of constitutional interpretation. Summary here.

At separate points in the evening, protesters unfurled a banner, and caused a physical disruption by leaping up in yellow jump suits and black hoods. Students responded in the comments section of Wesleying to the protesters’ allegations that they were “forcibly removed” from the lecture by campus security.

maybe if you and the idiots who unfurled that stupid banner upside down had sat down and listened to his answers to some interesting questions you’d have realized that you were protesting the wrong event: he said the job of the supreme court justice is not to make laws, but to interpret them. You can’t protest the judgers. you protest the lawmakers.

Also, they had every right to remove you. Not only were you guys being rude, but you were a distraction. You did the same thing radical republican pundits do every night: polarize a meaningful,  calm discussion. Good job.
No one is feeling sorry for you guys

Idiots

But riddle The ‘Cac this: would an “idiot” own a yellow jumpsuit? #gotcha #judgers
